In the beginning is a kid, in a pink, chalky, tangled, scraped and hungry city.
Then, a celebration of diversity, creative chaos and cosmic madness through times, places, stories, characters, and secrets to discover.
"The Great Palermo" is an interactive ballad about street food, folklore and transformations in the city of Palermo, Sicily; a locally-made playful experiment in cumulative storytelling and valorization of the intangible cultural heritage of Sicily.

In principio c'è un bambino, in una città rosa, calcarea, intricata, scrostata e affamata.
Poi, una celebrazione di diversità, caos creativo e follia cosmica attraverso tempi, luoghi, storie, personaggi, e segreti da scoprire.
"The Great Palermo" è una ballata interattiva sul cibo da strada, il folklore e le trasformazioni della città di Palermo; un esperimento di gioco creato sul territorio, tra narrazione cumulativa e valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale intangibile siciliano.

This was an excellent game, with incredibly unique art. Although I am American, some of my ancestors are from Palermo, so it was very fun to learn about its history and culture.

I'd like to ask you what happened with your Hieronymus Bosch-game "Cave! Cave! Deus videt!". This game totally blew my mind and was one of the most mind-boggling gaming experiences I ever had.
Dear Athanasius, sorry for of all for this late reply, as you know we are based in Italy and situation with coronavirus is altering everybody's work. We are really happy you loved CCDV Ep.0, we loved it too, very much. Unfortunately we had few issues with the released of Ep.1 (that I spare and that blocked the launch of the game after years of work). We still have this game very dear to our hearts, and we are sure that sooner or later we'll come back with the CCDV saga. Sending you lots of good vibes and thanks again for your support, it really means a lot for us.
Thank you for your reply! I'm very happy to hear CCDV is still an option for the future. This Corona guy is a nasty little critter. Here in Switzerland they are shutting down almost the whole social life too now... Anyway, these times will go by. Patience is the virtue of the moment. I recommend reading a bit of your old Roman stoic philosophers at the moment (Seneca, Epictetus and Marc Aurel). I do it and it helps. ;) I wish you and the team all the best! :)

Incredible ideas to narrate the history of Palermo and its food in a lovely surrealistic mood. Really a great game, everyone should play it.
